Revelation
There is no book of the bible that has spurned more discussion,
writings and crazy theology. Can anyone make sense of this
peculiar book. Come and see as Larry Books takes us through
Revelation.
The Book of Hebrews
Hebrews is one of the most theolgoically deep books in the bible.
Come learn as Pastor Phil ties the Old and New Testaments
together in an indepth study of this book.
Youth Sunday School
3-5 year olds
The overall theme this summer will be ‘Trusting in God’s
Care’. In June the children will learn about Daniel and Queen
Ester and how God helps us when we are afraid. The memory verse for
July is Psalm 23:1, ”The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not
want.” As the kids learn about the woman at the well, feeding of
the 5,000, the good Samaritan, and Jesus walking on water, the lessons
will focus on God’s love, help, and kindness. In August, children
will discover that God wants everyone to go to Heaven (Zacchaeus),
Jesus will forgive us if we ask (prodigal son), and that God cares for
us and will never leave us (David the shepherd, David & Goliath).
1st-3rd graders
During June and half of July, we continue with Moses, learning about
God’s provision (Israelites), trusting God (12 spies), obedience
(Moses strikes the rock), salvation (brass serpent), God’s
protection (Balaam), and putting God first (Moses sees the Promised
Land). The second half of July and all of August bring lessons that are
about Jesus’ healing and helping. Each lesson, however, has a
theme of its own. We will learn to tell others about Jesus (woman at
the well), that Jesus is God (Nobleman’s son/Jesus in the
synagogue), Jesus cares for us (Bartimaeus/Jairus’s daughter),
Jesus loves all children (Jesus and the children/lost lamb), that God
can use people (feeding of the 5,000), and to ask God for help(Jesus
walks on water).
